What a gift a General Convention is for a group of people who feel cut off from the greater church. For a few days every three years there is a reminder of the connection that the mission of the Episcopal Church shares.
Take It Or Leave It, But Please Leave it
The Church must leave behind our milquetoast preaching of the gospel, our inability to articulate why Jesus matters for us and for the world, and our petty squabbling that only distracts us from the true mission of the Church given to us by our Lord in the Great Commission.
